About 4 WaySite

"What a wonderful feeling to have someone who cares about our music and our lives to be able to put together such an interesting website. I wish everyone all my best and look forward to meeting everybody 'online' on 4 WaySite".

Graham Nash

In 1996 I literally designed 4waysite.com, with my friend Jeroen Mol, in de sand of the beach of Huizen (Netherlands). A place for CSNY music fans to indulge their passion was online soon after...

For over 10 years, I have been providing CSNY fans with breaking news, downloads, articles, information about all their (rare) releases, tours, etc., delving beneath the surface to find accurate information. And since you're already here, you know how comprehensive 4waysite.com is. What you may not know is that every month more than 49,000 visitors generate at least 161,000 views (accurately measured by webtrends.com) throughout the 900 pages of this site.

With the colorful, contrasting nature of (some of) the members' characters and their connection to the political and cultural upheavals of the time, I take this opportunity to say we do not condone or approve of some of the behavior they may engage in or personal opinions they express. This is an independent fan-site!

This is not a commercial site either, but it gives the CSNY fan the opportunity to access the CSNY (in all their forms) releases, books, etc., with lots of information, that are for sale on other sites. By ordering, however, through 4waysite.com, a percentage of the sale goes toward keeping this site up and running, which ensures that you can depend on us to continue to keep this site up-to-date.

Finally I want to show my appreciation to Graham Nash (who kindly keeps me informed), David Crosby (who mentioned 4waysite.com in his latest book as being "extremely useful"), Dave Zimmer (authorized author of several excellent CSN/&Y books), Stephen Barncard (CSN producer), Jeroen Mol (who used to help and - when needed - to guide me) and... to you!

Dolf van Stijgeren,

Web-site founder and manager.
