Dallas
Taylor 2.0 Tells Me Y…
For CSNY Dallas
Taylor is now a persona non grata, but in this
exclusive interview he tells many wonderful tales from his time
before his estrangement from the CSNY camp; stories that include
many details that were
previously unknown! A few quotes:
-
"It was Neil that would take his stuff home
after we laid down the basic tracks. Then he brought them back
for CSN vocals. Very weird."
-
"Jimi Hendrix and I were fighting over the same
girl"
-
"It was my closeness with Stephen that got me
fired. Neil couldn’t stand Stephen!"
-
"I liked Jim Morrison"
-
"David had an ego to fill Dodger Stadium, but
was a talented songwriter"
A
Pevarian Experience
– A conversation with Jeff Pevar
This time we talk with
none other than
David Crosby's favorite guitarist, Jeff Pevar. A guitarist,
composer, multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger and vocalist,
Pevar (a.k.a. “The Peev”) has recorded, performed and/or toured with
some of the finest musicians in the music business.
Perhaps most notably:
through being Marc Cohn’s guitarist on a tour supporting Crosby,
Stills & Nash, he came into contact with the CSN “family”, which is,
of course, of particular interest to readers of 4 WaySite.
Jeff Pevar elaborates
about his roots, his projects, making music with
Nash, playing guitar with Stills. And not to mention
why he picked "Triad" to attract Crosby’s attention, and last but
not least, about...
