"It was a great night, a movie with CSNY. The audience looked like a
concert crowd, lots of fans. CSNY came out at the beginning led by Neil
and said a few words.
The movie was well done with clips from the tour and some early stuff
most I've seen. It really explained the relevance of the group from many
different points of view. It showed CSNY and the connection between the
Viet Nam fiasco and the Iraq disaster with interviews and TV news
reports and of course, their songs. After the movie CSNY took the stage
again to answer questions.
One Vet came forward and said he had a loved one killed in the current
war and Neil didn't know what he was talking about. Neil with total
empathy told him he was right and acted most humble. It was a raw
vulnerable emotional moment. Neil looked like he was teared up. The key
was having an honest dialog he said. Nash urged everyone to vote.
< Neil with his hand on his
heart was his reaction to the Vet.
I felt proud to be a long time CSNY fan. You gotta give it to Neil. What
a night. Glad I made the trip from Southern CA. I give the movie a big
thumbs up"!
