Live It Up -
Crosby, Stills & Nash
Billboard Review: 6/30/1990
This slightly schizophrenic effort marks the trio's first studio album
in eight years (not counting the collaboration with Neil Young two years
ago). The title
track and first single is a generic rock ditty that could have been recorded by a number
of groups, but, happily, there's plenty here for true CSN fans, including the gorgeous
"Haven't We Lost Enough," "Yours And Mine," and "House Of Broken
Dreams." An especially nice touch is provided by guest saxophonist Branford
Marsalis.
