Neil's working with Crazy Horse (though not the specifics) has been
confirmed.

Stephen
Stills attended the wedding of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta
From Rolling Stone Daily:
"Stars Come Out To Toast Newlyweds Douglas, Zeta-Jones. Madonna may not tie the not
knot before next year, but 2000 has not lacked for headline-grabbing celebrity weddings.
The latest was the million-dollar bash thrown by actors MICHAEL DOUGLAS and CATHERINE
ZETA-JONES, who married at the Plaza Hotel in New York on Nov. 18. As detailed in the new
issue of "US Weekly," the festivities were attended by a who's who of famous
folk, including not only the couple's relatives and Hollywood friends but musicians STEPHEN
STILLS, JIMMY BUFFETT and QUINCY JONES and U.N. secretary general KOFI
ANNAN."
November 5:
Buffalo
Springfield in concert DVD release?
The possibility of a DVD released in conjunction with the boxed set has indeed been at
least mentioned.
The BS box-set might include a DVD as well as CDs! The Springfield boxed set consists of:
"four CDs with a lengthy booklet including detailed session notes (who played what),
time line, and essay, plus rare photographs. A lot of care went into compiling it by Joel
Bernstein who also did the CSN box set and Neil Young's Archives multi-CD set (still
unreleased). The set will include well-known material and never-before-released tracks (at
least 7) plus alternate takes and demos of songs we already know but in a different way
(like Rock 'N Roll Woman with Doug Hastings; a different take of Mr.Soul). They've even
got What A Day on it with Stills singing lead. No live stuff, though some interesting
tracks were located from radio shows and very early rehearsals.
Richie Furay's book (For What It Is Worth - the Story of the Buffalo Springfield - page
306), lists a 9 minute extended version of Bluebird on the 1973 collection simply titled
"Buffalo Springfield" Atco SD 2-806 (not to be confused with their first LP.
Hopefully that will be included in the box set.

David Crosby
on TV
David is listed to be a guest on Bill Maher's Politically Incorrect on
November 4th at 12:05 am (est). Keep in mind, this listing is after midnight, so don't be

October 21 :
Graham Nash
denies rumors, live CD/DVD and new tour in pipeline!
Rumors concerning "cancelled CSNY2K live CD and DVD" not true.
Graham Nash: "It's all bull... Work on the CSNY [CSNY2K] DVD is going
slowly due to prior commitments but we are working on both the audio and the video. We
have had CD's cut of our favorite performances of our songs. We will choose the best then
meet to discuss what songs should finally make it. Larry Johnson is doing the same with
the video so work is going on. Things are still great between us all and we are right now,
making plans for the next tour."
October 13 :
New Neil

Warner Music Benelux has told us that a new Neil Young live CD called

Another
award for David Crosby
From VH1 Top Stories: "Hard to believe how respectable former jailbird
David Crosby has become. Now that the only thing he drinks in large
quantities is water, he's safe enough to be honored at the Annual Musicians
Assistance Program Awards. At a ceremony on October 5, he'll receive a gong along with
Hugh Masekela and Dr. John, another fellow who's had problems with medication in the past.
Turns out that MAP helps music professionals get treatment for addiction, which suddenly
makes us feel very stupid."
September 18:

An article on the Launch site says that CSN will be appearing with McCain and Jesse
Ventura tomorrow on the steps of the Capitol building to rally for campaign finance

- There's No Need and
- Watched It All Come Down.
September 14:
CSN on the
radio?
Tonight David Crosby, Graham Nash, and others are scheduled to perform at

fact might be one of the main reasons they will be on Letterman.
September 12:

September 1:
Neil Young's
CD anthology series delayed again
Despite recent web site previews and a tantalizing interview segment in
Rolling Stone, the first installment of Neil Young's long-delayed CD anthology series will
not make it into stores this year, nor will Elektra/East-West's Buffalo Springfield
box set. Although Young's Buffalo Springfield period predates his solo career in most
people's minds, the first installment of his anthology has some material which pre-dates
the Springfield, such as early solo demos and a rare 1963 single by his first band, The
Squires. That's one of the reasons the Buffalo Springfield box, which is already mastered
and completed, will have to wait for release until after Young's anthology series starts.

CSNY2K tour
pulls in $42 mln
(Launch) - "The Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young tour that crossed the country
earlier this year was recently named the one of the highest grossing outings of the first
half of this year. CSN&Y, on the road in support of the album Looking Forward, came in
at No. 3 with a take of more than $42 million, according to industry sources.
The CSNY numbers are even more amazing when you consider that Looking Forward, released
last Oct. 26, hasn't even gone gold yet. Singer Graham Nash said the last thing he does is
contemplate those things. 'You just can't spend too much time thinking in those terms,'
said Nash. 'This is not brain surgery or astrophysics or Mozart. This is a very simple
form of music that moves a great many people, and I'm glad to be a part of it.'
Work is underway on a live album and video from the tour."

CS&N
tribute band Déjà Vu looking for vocalists
A message from the band: "As happens with bands, there are from time to time,
personnel changes, and Deja Vu is not immune to that. Having heard many of your
contributions to the tribute recordings, I realized what a pool of talent there is amongst
the members of this list, and thought perhaps a few of you may be interested in filling
out our ranks.
We currently have need of TWO LEAD VOCALISTS for the NASH
and CROZ vocals and harmonies. Either role must either play very good
bass or play keyboards/guitar. Looks are not important as we are NOT a look-alike tribute
band, but rather a VERY high-quality CSN cover band. "Nash" prospects do not
have to have British accents, but DO have to be able to hit all the high notes cleanly.
"Croz" prospects do not have to sport his signature "cookie duster",
but DO have to share similar vocal purity and range. All applicants must live in the Los
Angeles area."
If interested, please contact the band and leave a voice message at:
(818) 828-2581, or e-mail them at: limpet@earthlink.net

Will Buffalo
Springfield Roam Again?
From the Dutch Neil Young site:
Neil Young's new album, Silver and Gold features a plaintive ballad titled "Buffalo
Springfield Again," where he expresses nostalgia for the band that first put him on
the map. Singing "I'd like to see those guys again and give it a shot / Maybe now we
can show the world what we've got," he hints toward a reunion, which would neatly
dovetail the recently completed Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young road show and give legs to
the long-awaited Buffalo Springfield box set.
Read the whole story (in English) on the Dutch Neil Young site.

May 20: CSN&Y
working on live album
Launch.com: With their much-talked-about reunion tour complete, Crosby, Stills, Nash &
Young are now working on a live album and home video release that will
chronicle the trip. "Because we recorded and videoed every night, we're working on a
live record and a live video," Graham Nash said. "Hopefully in a perfect world
we would have it out by Christmas." If Nash's recollection of the tour is accurate,
fans will be in for a treat when the live album and home video is released. "The tour
was the most exciting musical project I've been on in my life. It was absolutely fabulous.
The music every night was surprising, it kept me interested, and I liked all of
that."

James Raymond) played new songs:
- Kings Get Broken (Crosby)
- Come With Me (Nash)
- Nothing In The World (Nash)
- Second Chance (Chris Stills)
A part of a fans review: "For What It's Worth included James Raymond on piano
and Chris Stills on Bass. On Deja Vu, it was cool to watch Stephen Stills facing the piano
and sharing solos w/ Raymond. You could really see a nice bond between CS&N and James
and Chris. At one point, Chris and Nash were sharing a mic, and the show ended, Crosby
gave Chris a big hug as they walked off stage."

SonicNet.com: Veteran folk-rocker David Crosby has doubts that Cuba is the boy's best

David Crosby: "Seems to me if the dad had been anywhere near to the kid prior to
all this, he would have been on the boat, too. In any case, ... Cuba right now is a very
tough place to give a child food and medicines and books and clothes and a few other
things that kids need.Elian became a pawn in a political struggle. Cuba hates the idea
that everyone wants to leave and will risk their lives to do so."

Memoirs?
Entertainment Weekly Issue#537/8, from Lorraine's CSN&Y site.
They have an album and a tour. Now all Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young need to make their
comeback complete are a few book deals. According to his agent, David Vigliano, Stephen
Stills is mulling over offers for his autobiography, For What It's Worth.
Not to be outdone, David Crosby began circulating a proposal, Since Then, a sequel to his
1988 memoir, Long Time Gone. But following a recent New York Post gossip item about the
band member's competing projects, Crosby's agent, Al Lowman, decided to "withdraw the
book until the playing field is clear." According to sources, Graham Nash's proposed
biography has been tabled for the same reason.
Still to be heard from: Neil Young, whom publishing insiders doubt will ever produce a
book, despite a contract he's had with Villard for years. "It's not currently
scheduled" was all Random House spokesman Tom Perry would say....

CSNY Reunion
Trek Grosses $43 Million
From Daily Music News:
The Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young reunion tour, which wrapped April 19 at the
Kiel Center in St. Louis, grossed about $43 million and played to 92% capacity over the
course of 40 shows. "All the experts out there were wrong," says Arthur Fogel,
president of Toronto-based the Next Adventure/SFX, which produced the tour. "This was
a great show, and [CSNY] were a pleasure to work with."
As for TNA's next project, chairman Michael Cohl points out U2 is in the studio and
says that if they tour, "we'd love to do it." In 1997-98, TNA produced U2's
worldwide "PopMart" tour, which averaged about $1.8 million per night at the box
office.
In other CSNY news, "Silver And Gold," Young's first solo studio album in
five years, is due for release tomorrow (April 25) on Reprise. The label will issue an
hour-long concert video under the same name. Taped in Austin, Texas last year during
Young's acoustic tour, the video features six songs from the new album as well as classics
such as "Harvest Moon" and "Long May You Run." -- Ray Waddell,

Upcoming CSNY reunion tour still in the
planning stages
Canadian stop for CSNY:
Michael Cohl
The upcoming CSNY reunion tour is still in the planning stages and doesn't yet have a
launch date or location. But Toronto's M Cohl, who is promoting the much-anticipated CSNY
trek, expects it to begin in early August, playing in arenas and amphitheatres in North
America for around three months. At least for the time being.
"We'll see how everything goes, and if it goes well, you never know," said Cohl
on the phone from Miami yesterday, where the Rolling Stones played last night. "Let's
face it. It's probably no different than the tour I'm on (with the Stones), where we
always start out with just North America, and then if things are going well, it ends up
going for a long time."
Cohl, who has also promoted tours by U2 and Pink Floyd, also said that Toronto is a likely
stop. "I don't really know," he said. "There's no question we'll stop by in
Canada. I mean, I am a Torontonian."
Cohl also expected the tour by the reunited quartet -- the first major one since 1974 --
to be a big deal for concertgoers with ticket prices comparable to those for the Stones,
U2 and Pink Floyd.
"There's a few figures being bandied about, but they might have done 31 or 34 shows
live ever," said Cohl of CSN&Y. "That's about as event-y as you can get I'm
sure it's going to be spectacular."
Cohl got involved in the CSN&Y reunion tour after making contact with the group via
the mail. "I wrote them a letter, had a dinner with Graham Nash, they talked amongst
themselves, and the moon and stars were right," he said. "That's the way I look
at it."
As for what the group is getting paid per show -- Rolling Stone says $500,000 -- Cohl
didn't know. "I have no idea how much they're going to make," he said.

News on coming CSN&Y CD which was
Neils idea
"Just spoke to a friend
who recently had a visit from Graham Nash. He said Nash played him a few cuts off the new
CSNY CD. He says it's gonna blow everybody away. Neils power chords are just killer on
some songs, but Neil's own 3 songs are all acoustic. Each member does 3 songs, there are
12 songs on the new CD. Now, the biggest surprise. He said Graham indicated that it
was NEIL's IDEA to have the reunion tour and album, not CSN's. ..."

March 17:
Neil Young at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of
Fame
Sir Paul McCartney took to
the stage on Monday night, to dedicate rock's highest accolade to his dead wife Linda.
In New York to be inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame, he was joined by Bruce
Springsteen and Eric Clapton for a performance of the Beatles song Let It Be, the same
number that was played at Linda's memorial services in London and the US last summer.
"This is a brilliant night for me but it's sad too," he declared. "I would
have liked my baby to be with me. She wanted this." McCartney has already been listed
in the Hall of Fame as a Beatles member but, on this occasion, he was being honoured for
his solo work.
Also honoured at the ceremony was the British soul diva Dusty Springfield, who lost her
long battle with breast cancer earlier this month. She recently received an OBE, which was
presented to her only days before her death. George Martin (right), the Beatles producer,
was also enrolled. Among the £2,000-a-head audience applauding the awards at the
Waldorf Astoria were Elton John, Eric Clapton, Lou Reed, Jimmy Page, Neil Young (seen
presenting the award), Bono and Julian Lennon, son of McCartney's former Beatles
colleague, John.
March 18:
CSNY tour with CSN band
"There was
a preview for an upcoming concert by David Crosby & CPR in the March 16 Minneapolis
Star Tribune "Pop Musing" column, written by pop music columnist Jon Bream.
Crosby revealed a few details about the upcoming CSNY album and tour during a phone
interview.
"Crosby Stills, Nash & Young is back together, Crosby confirmed last week during
a break from a CSNY recording session. The project had started out as a CS & N album,
for which 12 songs were nearly completed." 'Neil [Young] came by to play on a song,
liked the music and stuck around,'
Crosby said of a new CS & N album... 'We took that one apart and built a new one
[album]. We're just about done.'
The vibe among the quartet - which hasn't recorded an album together since 1988 and has
not toured since '74 - is excellent, Crosby said. With the album due in the stores in
June, the group is planning a summer tour of arenas, accompanied by drummer Joe Vitale,
bassist Hutch Hutchinson and keyboardist Michael Finneagan."
March 18:
Only new songs on new CSN&Y CD
"The new album will have

March 19:
SF Examiner Review 17.03.99
By Philip Elwood ( EXAMINER MUSIC CRITIC )
Solo concert finds amiable performer roaming over 30-year career
SACRAMENTO - All the audience could see on the darkened Memorial Auditorium stage Wed.
night was an empty chair, a few mikes, a rack holding guitars and a banjo. In the
background, barely discernible, an upright piano, a pump-organ and a grand piano. A candle
flickered atop the upright like a lighthouse in the mist, guiding a shaggy-haired figure
to stage center. Soft lighting rose, as did the arms of 53-year-old Neil Young, greeting
the 4,000 standing, cheering, whistling, stomping fans who jammed the ornate hall.
This wasn't a teenage rock 'n' roll crowd whooping it up for some current top-of-the-MTV
chart favorite, this was a congregation of the faithful of all ages, paying homage to one
of their own a rough and tumble folk-rocking troubadour, a wandering minstrel, a
loner-songsmith of his times and, for many in the hall, their times, too.
Young was remarkably talkative, even chatty, during his long (two hours plus) solo
concert. His glorious tenor soared out over the quiet, respectful listeners, carrying
melodic lyrics of love, despair, social commentary and nostalgia way up to Row K in the
second balcony.
After beginning with the delicate, plaintive, 30-year-old "Tell Me Why,"
accompanied by his big, fat-toned Gibson, Young commented as he introduced "Looking
Forward," a new contemplative number, "Trying to write a song without using the
word 'old' is getting hard to do." When Young is as relaxed and homey as he was here,
he varies the performances by switching accompaniment instruments, altering the meters,
moving from Carter Family-style, hill-country ballads like "War of Man" to
"World on a String," a boogie-based blues.
He switched to banjo in singing "Home Grown," after which, sniffing, he said to
some folks near the stage, "I know what you're doin' down there; makes my banjo feel
good, too" roars of glee echoed through the auditorium.
For contrast, he followed the old "Don't Let It Bring You Down" (great lyrics,
great song structure, wonderful guitar) with "Philadelphia," on which he
switched to the grand piano. "Daddy Went Walking," formed like a Scottish folk
number with a memorable melodic line, ended the evening's first set.
Despite his "Godfather of Grunge" reputation and his outspoken, tough comments
on socio-political subjects like the demise of family farms, the plight of Native
Americans, and threats to the environmental balance, Young's fondness for family, for the
warmth of love and for old favorites like motorcycles, animals and Elvis Presley
is still evident in his selection of material.
"Distant Camera," as close to a pop love song as Young ever gets,
"Ambulance Blues" (lyrics full of Harley-Davidsons along the highway of life)
and "Old King," the ultimate narrative song Woody Guthrie style
starring a dog named Elvis, made up a delightful segment of the show's second half.
Young moved to the giant pump-organ's keyboard to perform "Long May You Run,"
melodically a revision of "White Cliffs of Dover," then moved smoothly into the
show's sing-along anthems "Harvest Moon," and "After the Gold
Rush."
Hearing "After the Gold Rush" sung by thousand [text missing] a certain attachment to the historic days of the mining 49ers is an experience not soon
forgotten made especially memorable because Young's harmonium, in accompaniment,
sounded strangely like a cathedral organ.
Three encores closed the performance "Good to See You," "Marlon
Brando, Pocahontas and Me" (titled just "Pocahontas," but I love the lilt
of the full lyric) and, the oldest song of the night, from Buffalo Springfield's 1968
"Last Time Around" album, "On the Way Home," a fitting finale.
Young is the only solo artist out of rock 'n' roll who can present a full program of
original material covering a span of more than three decades while commanding the respect,
love and participation of a huge, multigenerational audience.
Long may he run.
March 20:
Stills Revue New London Day 3-19-99
Rick Koster (The New
London Day newspaper)
It's been oh 10,500 days since Stephen Stills stood onstage at Woodstock with his pals
Graham Nash and David Crosby, when they announced to the world that they were "scared
sh..less" then proceeded to launch a sound that helped change the course of Rock and
Roll history.
Last night, in the first show of a two night stand at the Wolf Den in the Mohegan Sun
Casino, the 54 year old Stills was anything but frightened as he led a razor sharp, five
piece band through a 70 minute set of archival rock and blues. Looking wise and leonine,
healthy if not exactly Olympian, the goateed guitarist/singer/songwriter proved there is
plenty left in his voice, fingers and muse - all of which had come under suspicion in the
last several years.
Opening with Woodstock, Stills grinned paternally at a fanatical throng which contained
gaming high rollers, two generations of loyal followers, and not a few crusty old-timers
who might have actually been at Yasgur's farm that long ago August day.
His opening guitar chops immediately assured us he's every bit the player who used to
spend long L.A. nights jamming with Jimi Hendrix, but it was his voice that was most
reassuring - not because it was great, but because it's so much better than the last CSN
tour, on which he sounded like a man gargling with sandpaper.
To be sure, Stills pipes have been ravaged by the erosional forces of time and fun, but
he's gotten some strength back, and chooses the power moments judiciously. It also didn't
hurt that he had some fine support vocals from keyboardist Michael Finnegan and drummer
Joe Vitale Jr. As to how strong his singing will be during the upcoming Crosby Stills Nash
and Young tour who can say?
Friday however, the entire package was a joy to behold, despite the absence of such
favorites as "Change Partners" and "I Give you Give Blind". Still, it
would take Stills playing continuously until tonight's show to get around to all of his
hits or songs that should have been hits. Given that, a play list that included "Love
the One You're With" "We are not Helpless" "Southern Cross" the
astounding "Dark Star" and his buddy Young's "Mr. Soul" was a
reasonable sampling. They encored with "For What it's Worth" which turned into
an audience participation event in which Stills tried to orchestrate unison pulls on
countless slot machines as a percussive device. Throughout, the song arrangements
reflected Stills more aggressive solo nature, which is to say substantially more rocking
than that presented by his CSN persona. Continually, his guitar work simmered like a well
made roux, and the backing band -- with Finnegan and Vitale, crowd pleasing bassist Gerald
Johnson, multi-instrumentalist Doug Reddenback and percussionist Joe Vitale Jr. - was one
hell of a rock band.
Finnegan took over lead vocals on three blues numbers. The excursions may have seemed, to
fans wanting a strict evening of jukebox recitations, time curiously spent,. But though
the break surely eased the strain on Stills voice, blues tunes like "Born Under a Bad
Sign" emphasized another of the guitarists stylistic passions not frequently visited
in his more acoustic exercises.
As wonderful as Finnegans voice was, it's a bit sad that Vitale (Sr.) wasn't allotted a
solo tune or two. Though known as a touring drummer in Joe Walsh's Barnstorm and for the
Eagles, Vitale also released two of the most criminally overlooked rock albums of the last
20 years, "Roller Coaster Weekend" and "Plantation Harbor." If you're
reading this Joe, and have any plans to sing "Laugh Laugh" or the title cut from
"Plantation" tonight, please leave a message for me at the Day, extension 219,
and I'll blow off my plans to go to Boston and hang around.
Actually, given the muscular rock, fine tunes, and good spirits of Stills and band, that's
not a bad idea anyway. Stephen Stills plays at 8 pm tonight in the Wolf Den admission is
free. Note: They played "Helplessly Hoping" not "We are not Helpless,"
but I thought this was a fine revue anyhow.

March 23:
Transcription of the induction speech that Neil made at the Rock 'n' Roll Hall
of Fame
"When I first heard the Beatles
back there in the 60s somewhere, the first thing I noticed was that that I might be able
to do this kind of thing myself. And ah, so the first song I ever sang was a Beatles song,
I sang ah, "Give Me Money That's What I Want." Sang it at the school cafeteria
and it didn't go over very good, so we tried "It Won't Be Long, Yeah." And that
was better. But as time went by and the Beatles got huge along with Springfield -- and
Stills and I were listening to "A Day in the Life" and we're listening to the
last note of the "Day in the Life" and listening to Paul's vocals and John's
vocals and the great things that George did to the record and so it was just like a
marriage of all this talent coming together and creating this incredible thing which none
of us could really fathom at that time. And we were just kind of doing our thing in the of
this great thing that happened, the Beatles and the Stones and the Who. And ah, so I just
kept on going and eventually the Beatles broke up and I then I thought at the same time I
broke up myself. So I started a solo career, and one of the pieces -- at the same time
that Paul came out with his solo album on Apple records with "Maybe I'm Amazed."
I loved that record because it was simple and there was so much to, to, to, to see. And to
hear it was just Paul, there was no adornment at all, there was no echo or nothing, and no
attempts to compete with things he had done. And ah, so, out he stepped from the shadow of
the Beatles and there he was. And ah, and it kind of blew my mind. And I said, "Well,
maybe I can do this too, you know, try that." So, I made a simple record which didn't
have any echo on it for a while.
"Anyway, to make a long story short, I knew Linda a long time ago and we were all
very happy when Linda and Paul got together and had such a wonderful family and I've felt
close to them all over the years. And I have a lot of respect for Paul McCartney as a man
for holding together a great family through the times of rock and roll and through all of
the success and through all of the swirling -- I had alot of respect for that. And the
rest of it, you all know, one of the greatest song writers perhaps ever. I think he'll be
remembered hundreds of years from now for the work he did. Starting with
"Yesterday" and continuing on to today and tomorrow, hopefully. It gives me
great pleasure to be here tonight to induct Paul McCartney into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of
Fame."

In addition, SFX and World Online have entered into a multi-year, multi-million
dollar sponsorship agreement. World Online will sponsor SFX events, facilities and tours
appearing across Europe, thus allowing the company to reach and reinforce their brand
relationship with consumers. World Online will have a highly visible on-site presence at
all SFX venues in Europe. The sponsorship will begin immediately. Additional elements of
the business relationship will be rolled out over the course of the year.
The partnership will provide World Online with access to SFX's extensive relationships

theatrical events that are scheduled to tour this year in Europe, including Britney
Spears, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Lord of the Dance and Nickelodeon's Rugrats, to name
a few.

Information on the
set list of the CSNY2K tour.
Nash: "The only thing that we've decided so far is that we want to play every
song from the new record, and then we want to play a selection of songs that our fans know
and love us for -- as long as we can make them musically interesting and make them not a
medley and not a Las Vegas-type rendition of it."
Crosby said the repertoire might even include songs that the group has written since
Looking Forward was released.
"Oh, I guarantee you there are songs in there that you haven't heard, that nobody's
heard before,'' he said. "We're an ongoing process, man. We're a work in
progress."
They also will feature material from their earlier musical affiliations, such as the
Byrds (Crosby), Buffalo Springfield (Stills and Young) and the Hollies (Nash).
January 18:
4 keyboard players on
CSNY2K tour...
Stephen Barncard talked to both David Crosby and Graham Nash:
"They're leaving for Cleveland tomorrow for rehearsals and they're both jazzed
about the upcoming CSNY tour. I want to take this opportunity to wish them the best for
this incredible adventure.
David said they worked on 'Down By the River' a couple of days ago and said that it just
SMOKED. It seems like you're going to get your Stills-Young guitar battles. He also said
that the keyboards will be played by Stephen, Neil, Nash and himself -- that whoever's
loose will be back on a keyboard of some sort.
4 keyboard players! Yes.
I also complimented Nash on his history of keyboard playing and his unique style and he
was quite humble about it. Yes, he's playing
Hammond organ....."

Melissa Etherige's secret in
Rolling Stone.
Now available the complete story.

January 10:
Etheridge reveals rocker David
Crosby fathered her children.
NEW YORK (AP) -- Rock star Melissa Etheridge is ending speculation about
the paternity of the children she shares with partner Julie Cypher.
The father is David Crosby, Etheridge told Rolling Stone magazine in the
issue that hits newsstands this week.
"We just got so tired of this secret," Etheridge said. "It wears you out.
And keeping this big secret goes against how we are choosing to live our lives -- very
openly."
The paternity of Bailey, 3, and Beckett, 1, had become a guessing game in the music world,
with gossips speculating that Brad Pitt, Bruce Springsteen or Tom Hanks might have been
the father. Cypher, a filmmaker, carried the children.
Crosby, 58 and the father of three other children, doesn't plan to help raise Bailey and
Beckett -- which is fine by Etheridge and Cypher.
"If, you know, in due time, at a distance, they're proud of who their genetic dad is,
that's great," said Crosby, the singer and songwriter of Crosby, Stills and Nash
fame.
The Grammy-winning Etheridge said Crosby's wife, Jan, first suggested the idea
when the two couples chatted during a vacation in Hawaii a few years ago.
"It came from her, which was the best, most perfect way," Etheridge said.
"For one, he's musical, which means a lot to me, you know, and I admire his work. And
he has his own life, has his own family."

There will be 3 new shows announced after the tour start in Detroit. Keep checking the Tour News section!
January 6: New CS&N album...?
Lucien van Diggelen and his good friend and
co-writer of their Neil Young book, Herman Verbeke were in Paris. They

and recordings."
