As many of you know, a new book
on CSN and sometimes Y is long overdue but the first two of the
threesome-boxset will appear shortly.
Next Monday night Lucien will be the guest of the Dutch KRO radio
show Niemandsland (No man's land), between 01:00 and 03:00 am. The
host of the show is Niek Nieuwenhuizen. In the show Lucien will tell about
the writing of the book using anecdotes, impressions and stories about
interviews the they did. He will also highlight the importance of the
internet for the book project. Of couse the interview with Lucien will be
interspersed with CSNY music.
Later, Lucien will also be the guest of Mart Smeets and of Hans Schiffers
on Dutch radio, dates of which will be announced later. Co-author Herman
Verbeke will feature on Belgian radio a few times shortly as
well, dates have not been set yet either.
Very shortly the first two books of the box set in Dutch language will
appear: "The early years" and "1968-2002".
The third book (an extensive discography/gig-ography etc) will follow a
few months later, as will the English translation of the
first two books. Currently a lot of effort is being put into the
correction of the English translation.
Also a special day will be organised for the release of the
Dutch books, which will be a sort of fan club night, on which the books
will be presented to those who have pre-ordered them. Later that night the
CSNY cover band Southern Cross will perform. This party will be held in
the café Stairway to Heaven in Utrecht. The exact date depends on when
the books have actually been printed. The dates will be set as soon as
possible and all CSNY fans are welcome to attend.
