April 3: David Crosby decries Britney Spears, part II
David Crosby: "I don't think Britney gives a shit what old rockers think of her and my biggest beef isn't just that she sings shallow silly stuff. That's sort of appropriate to her teenybopper audience. The really offensive thing  is that she isn't a singer; not live, that's a tape and I think its a rip to call it a live performance.
If these kids could write a song or play an instrument at all I would try to respect them even if I don't like the content, but they are dancers hired by the pound to look cute while the lights flash and the pyro goes off ....
."

April 3: Update on Graham Nash release
There were quite some questions about the new Graham Nash release about the format.
The new realease Songs For Survivors will be realeased on both CD (Artemis records) and DVD (DTS records).

April 2: Crosby Stills Nash not to Europe
According to Graham Nash it is not true what the advert says.

April 2: Crosby Stills Nash to Europe?
A German advert in the magazine Moderne Welt (http://www.modernewelt.de, but it is not online yet), says CSN are "in Vorbereitung" - which means such as "preparing" - to perform in Germany.
It is according the advert in July and August 2002.

April 1: David Crosby decries Britney Spears
LOS ANGELES (AP) - Veteran rocker David Crosby isn't universally impressed with what he calls the "shiny and new'' in the music world.
Crosby, 60, took a break from his "Tour of America'' with longtime bandmates Stephen Stills, Graham Nash and Neil Young to assess the music scene.
"There's some good people out there, but there's a lot of fluff (too),'' Crosby said. "Things like 'N Sync and Britney (Spears). These people are about as deep as a birdbath.''
Crosby also said there seems to be a prejudice against old-timers by the media, even though the band, which formed in 1968, got a good review from Rolling Stone after its show in New York.
"They really don't even like having people like us still around,'' Crosby
said. "They want to sell the newest product."

This positive resolution was achieved with the help of a Da Capo Press rights associate.
"

March 8: New Graham Nash CD to be released?
We have heard the new Nash CD "Song For Survivors" will be released in May on Artemis Records.
If this is true, we are very glad to hear that Graham has found a very good label for his new effort.
Artemis is distributed worldwide by Sony/Columbia and the label already released the latest Warren Zevon and Rickie Lee Jones albums, showing great interest in good singer/songwriters.

February 25: British CSNY show?
A source as informed us that a report in a Scottish Newspaper has Edinburgh promoters negotiating with CSNY's people to host a concert in Princess Street's Gardens. The reports seem a little confused and it's not clear if it's CSN or CSNY.
"Negotiations are at an early stage!"

February 22: Crosby on ticket prices
When the group played the same venue in 2000 - for comparison's sake, a time of economic stability - prices were $201, $76, $51 and $40.50.
Crosby refers complaints to promoter Clear Channel Entertainment, which purchased the tour and paid the group a lump sum.
David Ctrosby: "What they do in terms of the gigs and the pricing and the rest of it is completely out of our hands,. Anybody who thinks it's too much money shouldn't come. That's fair."

February 21: 4 WaySite webmanager is back from Chicago!
Dolf van Stijgeren: "Although this photo looks very serious, Graham and I had fun (Grahams Neil Young imitation was very good).
As for the concert: I think it was better than two years ago and this time Neil joined CS&N during 'typical CS&N songs'. The guys really enjoyed themselves and so did I."
Soon more details.

February 5: Graham Nash celebrated his 60th birthday in the pink
SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) - Singer-songwriter Graham Nash celebrated his 60th birthday in the pink with friends and relatives.

More than 150 guests attended Saturday's offbeat party at the Madonna (news - web sites) Inn, including Stephen Stills and David Crosby, who wore a pink bunny costume.

"I asked everyone to dress in pink and just act silly,'' said Nash's wife, Susan. "It's not very often that we all get to see each other. It's usually at concerts or benefit fund-raisers, so it was really important that we just have fun, hang out and talk to each other.''

Bette Midler and a dozen other women presented a musical tribute to Nash with ``As Time Goes By.''

February 2: Happy birthday Graham!
Today Graham Nash is turning 60: have a nice day in that hotel Graham!

February 1: Tomorrow Graham Nash is turning 60 in style
Graham Nash: "My wife's taken an entire hotel of 110 rooms about three hours away from Los Angeles.  It's been a secret. I do know where it's going to be (but) my wife has been planning this for a year and has kept it from me completely."

January 30: Eight new songs for coming tour
A local St. Louis radio station did a short, live interview with Stephen and Graham this afternoon. They implied they would do some new songs: "Neil has 4, Stephen has 2, and Graham and David each have 1".
The DJ asked if they were going to play solo sets on the tour and Stephen jumped in right away and said "Oh no, we're playing all together now. We got over that!". Stephen and Graham emphasized all of them would be on the stage all the time.

January 29: 4 WaySite back
Due to problems with the internet provider, 4 WaySite was down. Now it is - as you can see - up and running again and we are still working on the update.

January 17: Neil Young announced new album
Neil JUST announced the release date of his new album "Are You Passionate?". On March 26th, Neil will release his album which will include the single commemorating the Sept. 11th terrorist attacks entitled "Let's Roll."
The album will be followed up with a tour by Neil, dates are still to be announced.

January 16: Neil Young gets passionate
From Rolling Stone:
NEIL YOUNG will release a new solo album, tentatively titled "Are You Passionate?," this spring. The eleven-track follow-up to 2000's acclaimed "Silver & Gold" will feature "Let's Roll" -- a song inspired by Todd Beamer, one of the men who took action against the hijackers on United Airlines Flight 93, which crashed outside of Pittsburgh on September 11th. The song was released to radio last month.
The new album was recorded with keyboardist BOOKER T. JONES, bassist DONALD "DUCK" DUNN, drummer STEVE POTTS and CRAZY HORSE guitarist FRANK SAMPEDRO.
Young will hit the road as part of CROSBY, STILLS, NASH AND YOUNG on their 2002 tour, which launches February 6th at Michigan's Palace of Auburn Hills.

January 8: New CSNY album?
A radio DJ this morning, in Columbus, say that the new Neil song will be part of a CSNY album coming out next month.
But the DJ does not seem to be connected to CSNY, or any record company types...

January 3: Stills' birthday
Congratulations on your birthday Stephen!

January 1: Pre-view new lay out
First we wish you a happy 2002.
As you can see, this page looks different... Be patient and soon 4 WaySite will look completely different!
